We’re Hiring: Senior Employee Relations Advisor

Demipower Group

Location: North London with travel to sites across the UK

Salary: £50,000 including car allowance

Contract: Full-Time

Reporting to: Director of People

Ready to make a real impact?

Demipower Group is a fast-growing franchise business operating across the Quick Service Restaurant sector, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team.

This is more than just an ER role. You will be a trusted adviser to our managers and leaders, helping them navigate complex people challenges, build their confidence and create a positive employee experience across our sites.

If you enjoy complex casework, coaching managers, finding practical solutions and making a genuine difference, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Role

  • You will take ownership of a varied and interesting employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and conduct matters.
  • You will advise and support managers through investigations, hearings and appeals, providing practical, commercially focused and legally compliant advice.
  • You will coach managers to become more confident in handling people issues and play an important role in developing their understanding of employee relations.
  • You will also support organisational change, restructures and consultation processes, analyse ER trends and make recommendations to reduce risk and improve employee engagement.
  • Working closely with the Director of People, you will have the opportunity to contribute to wider HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and the development of our people policies and practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • You will have strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and ACAS best practice, together with experience managing complex disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is preferred, and you will need the flexibility to travel to our sites across the UK.
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, leisure or QSR would be advantageous, as would exposure to TUPE, restructuring and organisational change.
