Employment Senior Associate

Location: London
Salary: £95,000 - £115,000

We are working with a well-established law firm based in London, who are seeking an Employment Senior Associate to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to advise a broad range of UK and multinational clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters, within a highly regarded and market-leading practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on day-to-day employment matters including disciplinaries, grievances, contracts and policies, as well as larger projects such as restructures and redundancies.
  • Handling Employment Tribunal claims for employer clients, covering issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing, along with related dispute resolution.
  • Advising on restrictive covenant disputes, team moves and the enforcement of confidentiality obligations through High Court litigation.
  • Supporting the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and TUPE on M&A, divestments and outsourcings.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development and the growth of the practice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5 to 8 years' PQE within an Employment team, with deep technical knowledge across most areas of employment law.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership of matters and dealing directly with clients.
  • Experience acting for employer clients on both advisory and litigation work is preferred, along with some experience supervising junior lawyers.
  • An ambitious, proactive and commercially minded team player, keen to support others and develop their own skills.
