Senior Associate – Employment
I am working with a top 50 UK law firm with an excellent reputation and a strong people-focused culture, to recruit a Senior Associate – Employment to join its highly regarded national Employment team. The role can be based in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Oxford.
Responsibilities
- Advising a diverse range of clients across sectors including health and care, NHS, automotive, manufacturing, retail and higher education.
- Managing your own caseload and leading Employment Tribunal and advisory matters, with appropriate supervision at Senior Associate level.
- Advising large employers on complex employment law issues and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
- Delegating work to junior lawyers, supporting their development and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Building strong, trusted client relationships and contributing to client training, marketing and business development activities.

Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 4+ PQE and strong employment law experience gained in private practice or in-house.
- Proven experience handling both Employment Tribunal and advisory matters.
- Experience advising large employers, with advocacy experience desirable.
- Experience supporting clients in regulated sectors would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational, time and document management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
