Senior Employment Lawyer

Bristol

Salary up to £65k D.O.E

Yolk Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded national law firm with the recruitment of an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment law specialist to join an established team handling a varied caseload on behalf of individuals, businesses, insurers, and institutional clients.

As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will provide strategic, technical, and practical guidance across a broad range of employment law matters. You will work closely with the Group Leader, Partner, and other experienced lawyers, helping to maintain high technical standards while delivering practical and commercially focused advice.

Flexible hybrid working available. Applications are welcomed from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time opportunities.

This is what you will be doing

Your duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • Providing strategic, technical, and practical guidance across complex employment law matters.
  • Managing and advising on claimant and respondent employment cases, including insurance-backed litigation.
  • Supporting colleagues with technical queries, case strategy, and best practice.
  • Building strong relationships with individual, business, and insurer clients while providing excellent client service.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to maintain high standards across the employment law team.

The experience you will bring to the team

You will bring the following experience to the Employment team:-

  • Qualification as a Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, or equivalent legal professional.
  • Extensive experience handling a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, tribunal procedure, and technical employment law issues.
  • Experience working with lay clients, businesses, insurers, or defendant insurer claims handlers.
  • The ability to manage complex litigation, work under pressure, and meet demanding deadlines.
