Employment Solicitor | 3-8 PQE | Birmingham | Top 100 UK Law Firm

Oculus is partnering with a Top 100 UK law firm as they continue to invest in the growth of their nationally recognised Employment team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor with around 3-8 years' PQE to join a highly regarded team advising employer clients on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

You'll have:

  • Around 3-8 years' PQE in Employment law
  • Experience managing Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Strong advisory and drafting skills
  • A commercial, pragmatic approach to client work
  • An interest in business development and building client relationships
  • The ambition to progress your career within a growing national team

You'll join a firm recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers, offering the quality of work and client base of a national practice, combined with the collaborative culture and accessibility of a regional firm.

The Birmingham office is undergoing significant investment, with recent high-profile hires and continued growth across several practice areas. As part of the wider national Employment team, you'll benefit from specialist expertise, cross-office collaboration and a steady flow of high-quality work from day one.

You'll advise a diverse range of employer clients, from owner-managed businesses to national organisations, with work including:

  • High-value Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Strategic HR and employment advisory work
  • Disciplinary, grievance and discrimination matters
  • TUPE, restructures and redundancy projects
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies and handbooks
  • Settlement agreements and senior executive advice
  • Corporate support on business transactions
