Senior Employment Solicitor - Manchester or Leeds - Up to £95,000 DOE

A highly regarded Employment team is seeking a talented Senior Employment Solicitor to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer looking to work on high-quality matters for a diverse employer client base, while benefiting from clear progression opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

The Role

You will advise employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

  • Employment tribunal litigation
  • Disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal claims
  • Restructuring, redundancy, and TUPE matters
  • Employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work
  • Client relationship management and business development initiatives

The Candidate

Applications are invited from solicitors with:

  • 5-8 years' PQE gained within a recognised Employment team
  • Strong technical employment law knowledge
  • Experience advising employer clients on both advisory and litigation matters
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • The ability to manage matters independently and work directly with clients
  • A commercial, proactive, and responsive approach
  • An interest in business development and networking activities
  • Experience supervising junior lawyers would be advantageous
