Senior Employment Solicitor - Manchester or Leeds - Up to £95,000 DOE
A highly regarded Employment team is seeking a talented Senior Employment Solicitor to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer looking to work on high-quality matters for a diverse employer client base, while benefiting from clear progression opportunities and a collaborative team environment.
The Role
You will advise employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
- Employment tribunal litigation
- Disciplinary and grievance issues
- Discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal claims
- Restructuring, redundancy, and TUPE matters
- Employment contracts, policies, and procedures
- Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work
- Client relationship management and business development initiatives

The Candidate
Applications are invited from solicitors with:
- 5-8 years' PQE gained within a recognised Employment team
- Strong technical employment law knowledge
- Experience advising employer clients on both advisory and litigation matters
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- The ability to manage matters independently and work directly with clients
- A commercial, proactive, and responsive approach
- An interest in business development and networking activities
- Experience supervising junior lawyers would be advantageous
