How you’ll power our business as a Senior Energy Management & Reporting Analyst
At Equity Energies, we help businesses gain greater control and visibility over their energy and water costs through expert utility management, reporting and consultancy services. We work closely with clients to manage utility data, budgets and reporting, support energy procurement decisions, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and lower carbon emissions.
We're looking for a Senior Energy Management & Reporting Analyst to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of key client portfolios, ensuring utility data is accurately captured, validated and reported. You'll work closely with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting, budgeting and insight, helping organisations make informed decisions about their utility usage and expenditure. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced utilities professional who enjoys analysing data, solving problems and building strong client relationships.
What you'll be doing
- Taking full ownership of assigned key client portfolios, ensuring the ongoing accuracy, integrity and completeness of utility data.
- Collecting, validating and processing energy, water and utility billing data, alongside other cost-related information where required.
- Identifying, investigating and resolving data anomalies, missing consumption information and billing discrepancies.
- Maintaining client portfolios within relevant technology platforms to support reporting, validation and budgeting activities.
- Producing and delivering monthly and ad hoc client reports in line with agreed service levels and deadlines.
- Managing day-to-day relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with utility suppliers and managing queries through to resolution.
- Supporting KPI tracking and departmental reporting to provide visibility of client performance and delivery.
- Training and supporting new and existing team members where required.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and undertaking additional projects as assigned.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
