Senior Energy Underwriter (MGA Platform)

Invecta Group has been retained by an MGA to hire a Senior Underwriter to write international facultative energy business. The successful candidate will have full autonomy over broker relationships, new business generation, and portfolio strategy. The platform is backed by several dedicated facultative capacity arrangements rather than one consolidated binder.

  • Own the energy underwriting strategy and portfolio performance
  • Develop broker and capacity relationships across international territories
  • Write facultative energy business within your area of specialism (upstream or downstream)

What we're looking for:

  • A senior underwriter with an established track record in energy, comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
  • A clear specialism in upstream (offshore or onshore exploration and production) or downstream (petrochemical, onshore energy) business
  • International territory experience; this mandate covers international risk only, not US
  • A track record of producing new business rather than managing an existing book
  • MGA experience is useful, though not essential
