Senior Engagement Director | London | £160,000 to £200,000 base + OTE | Digital Consultancy
Wundertalent is partnering with a founder led technology consultancy that helps large enterprises deliver AI, data, cloud and software engineering programmes. They’ve built a strong reputation for engineering quality and are now growing their presence with enterprise clients in the UK. To lead that growth, they’re hiring a Senior Engagement Director in London.
This is a senior commercial role with two equal halves. Half your time goes into owning and growing a portfolio of large, complex enterprise accounts. The other half goes into opening new ones. You’ll be the senior relationship holder for the business, trusted by CIOs, CTOs and business leaders, and accountable for client outcomes rather than simply supplying engineering capacity.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, building C level relationships and expanding into new business units, programmes and geographies
- Running account health and economics, including revenue, margin, forecasting and commercial risk
- Building a pipeline of new enterprise clients through your network, partner ecosystem and targeted business development, often creating opportunities before a formal brief exists
- Leading the full commercial cycle from discovery and proposition shaping through executive presentations, proposals, negotiation and close
- Working with technology and delivery leaders to shape compelling propositions across AI transformation, data, cloud and software engineering
- Providing senior oversight on major programmes so risks, governance and client expectations stay on track

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
