Senior Engineer

Salary: £47,000 - £57,000 p/a + package

Do you have experience working as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on major civil or infrastructure projects? Are you looking for your next opportunity within civil engineering? If so, this is a brilliant opportunity to progress your career.

Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a Senior Engineer to work on a major infrastructure project. This role offers a challenging scope of works, excellent exposure to complex engineering, and an opportunity to work on an exciting project. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career towards being a Site Agent or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Managing site engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and implementing RAMS prior to works commencing.
  • Ensuring Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are completed, recorded, and maintained to industry standards.
  • Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including setting out, as-built information, and quality documentation.
  • Producing and updating short-term and monthly programmes for your section of works.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Senior Engineer role within civil engineering.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • A full UK driving licence.
