About the Opportunity
Want to work on one of the most technically complex engineering platforms in the UK?
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – NVH/Acoustics to join a specialist Stealth Engineering team based in Barrow-in-Furness.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take your expertise in Noise, Vibration & Acoustics into an environment where your work will directly influence the design, performance, and stealth capability of advanced submarine platforms.
Make your expertise count
As a Senior Stealth Testing & Trials Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring demanding stealth performance targets are achieved.
From equipment prototypes and Factory Acceptance Testing, through to new-build submarine measurements, commissioning, and in-service support, you’ll work across the full lifecycle of the platform.
You’ll be more than just taking measurements. You’ll be interpreting data, diagnosing complex problems, and influencing engineering decisions that really matter.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
