Senior Engineer – Civil Engineering
Join a successful family-owned housebuilder where Engineers play a key role in delivering high-quality developments. You’ll be responsible for compiling and delivering civil engineering packages, resolving engineering issues and supporting projects from appraisal through to completion, with excellent training, benefits and long-term career opportunities.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with site appraisals and engineering solutions
- Developing road and sewer designs and resolving engineering issues
- Preparing and coordinating Section 38 and Section 104 designs, approvals and agreements
- Coordinating external levels and private drainage designs
- Managing foundation design consultants and obtaining approvals
- Assembling and delivering complete civil engineering packages
- Advising on foundations, contamination, SuDS and value engineering
- Supporting the discharge of engineering-related planning and building conditions
- Coordinating maintenance inspections and bond releases
- Attending meetings and working collaboratively across the business

About You
- Experience within a housebuilder or civil engineering consultancy
- HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience producing engineering designs using standard software
- Strong knowledge of Section 38, 104 and 278 agreements
- Knowledge of highway design standards, Sewers for Adoption, Building Regulations Part H and BS8301
- Experience with PDS, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-functional team
