Senior Engineer – Gatwick Airport (Pier 3 Bridge Project)

We're recruiting for a Senior Engineer to support the Pier 3 Bridge Project at Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile aviation project involving complex structural and refurbishment works in a live airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of subcontractor packages including:
    • Bridge jacking and bearing replacement
    • Grit blasting and repainting works
    • Major temporary works, including scaffolding
    • Internal and external building alterations
    • Permit management
    • Stakeholder management across multiple parties
    • Coordination and interface management with electrical and plumbing suppliers
    • Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
