Senior Maintenance Engineer Heavy Machinery
Ashbourne | Monday to Friday Days | 42 Hours per Week
Are you an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer, Lead Engineer or Mechanical Engineer looking for a hands-on senior engineering role within a heavy industrial environment?
We're recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at a busy, well-established manufacturing facility in Ashbourne.
This is a senior, hands-on engineering position with responsibility for supporting the sites maintenance strategy, improving plant reliability, reducing downtime and ensuring engineering activities are delivered safely and effectively.

You'll work closely with the wider engineering and production teams while taking ownership of planned maintenance, breakdown response, engineering compliance and maintenance performance across the site.
Working Hours
- 42 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Some on-call cover may occasionally be required

The Role
As Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety and performance of heavy machinery and production equipment across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking a lead role in the delivery and continuous improvement of the site maintenance plan
