What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the technical delivery of design tasks and activities
- Preparing and/or checking/approving detailed technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications
- Developing designs from concept stage through to detailed design
- Implementing workflow, design processes and best practices
- Supporting the technical and professional development of team members
- Communicating direct with clients and other stakeholders
- Contributing to the resource management of the Team
- Contributing to the development and delivering of the business strategy
- Ensuring the Team complies with relevant standards, regulations and project briefs as well as BWB’s Quality Management System
What You’ll Bring
- Experience across National Highways, Network Rail, Local Highway Authorities and private development projects
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels internally and externally
- Ability to communicate complex engineering issues/solutions to non-technical audience
- Technical excellence in the field of Highway Design
