Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Senior Engineer to support the development and enhancement of customer-facing identity and commerce platforms within a global streaming technology environment. This role will contribute to delivering seamless customer experiences across multiple streaming services, supporting customer acquisition, authentication, account management, and third-party integrations. The successful candidate will work within a distributed international team and leverage modern web technologies to build scalable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer-facing applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Build scalable solutions supporting identity, authentication, and commerce platform capabilities.
- Implement integrations with third-party partners and in-app purchase platforms.
- Develop and maintain GraphQL services and APIs.
- Apply test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Create and execute unit tests and automated test suites.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and platform teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools including Jenkins and Concourse CI.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Contribute to the development of self-service customer account management capabilities.

Qualifications
- Proven experience developing modern web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js development.
- Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs and services.
- Demonstrated experience with unit testing and test-driven development methodologies.
- Familiarity with agile software development practices and frameworks.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Concourse CI.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, including Microsoft Playwright.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code quality standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain BPSS clearance
