Senior Engineer – Tank Gauging
Location: UK (Field-based with occasional overnight stays)
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer – Tank Gauging at Honeywell, you will lead the repair, maintenance, and commissioning of Honeywell Enraf equipment and inventory systems across our customer sites in the UK.
This role involves hands-on field support, ensuring our customers—across refineries, distribution centres, and retail environments—can leverage advanced tank gauging and inventory management solutions for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Deployment:
- Install, maintain, repair, and commission Honeywell Enraf tank gauging instruments and related software assets.
- Provide on-site technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve operational or system failures.
- Work with customer teams to ensure seamless integration of data analytics, connectivity, and automation solutions into their processes.

Customer-Facing Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UK-based customers, acting as a trusted advisor in digital transformation, sustainability, and efficiency gains.
- Deliver training and best-practice guidance on tank gauging systems, reporting, and compliance (e.g., inventory accuracy, emissions reductions).

- Assess customer needs and propose upgrades or automation enhancements aligned with asset performance management principles.

On-Site Logistics & Compliance:
- Travel frequently to customer sites; manage logistics for equipment deployments and overlays.
- Adhere to fieldwork safety protocols and perform configured site inspections.
