Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Azure / AWS)
Location: Hybrid, Manchester
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
We’re working with a fast-growing technology business that is scaling its platform and looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of key product areas and help shape engineering practices.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and build scalable software, contribute to architecture decisions, and support the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and.NET Core.
- Design contract-first, versioned REST APIs.
- Develop and support event-driven architectures.
- Work across Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
- Write quality, tested code and contribute to engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers and support technical decision-making.

What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with C#,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with REST APIs, event-driven systems, and SQL Server/Azure SQL.
- Cloud experience with Azure and familiarity with AWS.
- Comfortable with Git, code reviews, mentoring, and using AI tools to improve development efficiency.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and cross-cloud integration is desirable.
