About This Role

This Senior Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee setting out and quality management across multiple infrastructure sites in the North West. You will manage survey control, lead technical quality, and mentor junior site engineers across regional framework projects.

  • Establish primary survey control networks and oversee setting out accuracy across multiple project locations.
  • Compile Inspection and Test Plans while managing quality management systems and technical compliance.
  • Lead material procurement schedules, pre:start take:offs, and technical method statement preparations.
  • Deputize for Sub:Agents and Site Agents while managing relationships with client representatives and designers.

About You

You are an experienced site engineer and proven line manager with a strong background in heavy civils and infrastructure. Your technical setting out skills are paired with the leadership required to develop junior engineering talent.

  • Hold a recognized Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering alongside 5+ years of hands:on site experience.
  • Demonstrate strong setting out expertise using modern survey equipment and AutoCAD software.
  • Possess active site qualifications, including CSCS, SMSTS, and Confined Space certification.
  • Show proven capability in managing and mentoring junior site engineers across active construction projects.
