Senior Site Engineer - Luton
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in Luton.
Our client is a leading UK construction company specialising in RC frames, groundworks, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day engineering activities across allocated project sections.
- Lead setting out operations and oversee engineering control procedures.
- Review drawings, specifications, and design information to ensure accuracy and buildability.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered in accordance with project requirements.
- Produce and review technical documentation, including ITPs, RFIs, permits, and quality records.
- Monitor project progress and identify engineering solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support planning and sequencing of construction activities.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, utilities, and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate site records, surveys, and as-built information.

Skills & Requirements
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer within RC Frame, Groundworks, Civil Engineering, or Main Contracting environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
- Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
- Proficient in the use of surveying and setting-out equipment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and technical compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid CSCS Card essential.
