About us

At Trainline, our purpose is to empower greener travel choices, connecting people and places. Trainline enables millions of travellers to find and book the best value tickets across carriers, fares, and journey options through our highly rated mobile app, website, and B2B partner channels.

Great journeys start with Trainline 🚄

We’re Europe’s leading independent rail platform, helping millions of travellers find and book the best-value rail and coach journeys across our app, website and partner channels.

Our job is to make the green travel choice the best choice. By building a better train travel experience, we help more people choose rail - creating a positive impact for customers, our business and the planet.

We’re a team of more than 1,000 Trainliners from over 50 nationalities, working across London, Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Edinburgh and Madrid. Now is a brilliant time to join us and help shape the future of travel.

Introducing the Trainline Supply Platform & AI Enablement Team 👋

The Supply Platform & AI Enablement team sits within Trainline’s Core Experience pillar and plays a critical role in shaping how supply is integrated, managed, and scaled across the Trainline platform. As rail liberalisation accelerates across Europe and new operators continue to enter the market, the team is focused on building scalable, resilient, and future-ready platform capabilities that enable Trainline to onboard and manage supply efficiently across rail and coach markets.

As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead multiple engineering teams responsible for evolving the architecture, tooling, and operational capabilities that power Trainline’s supply ecosystem. This is a highly strategic leadership role focused on platform modernisation, organisational scalability, and the adoption of AI-enabled and agentic workflows to improve engineering efficiency and operational effectiveness. Working closely with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Commercial, and Supply stakeholders, you will help shape the long-term technical vision for the domain while fostering high-performing, collaborative teams that can confidently navigate complexity, growth, and change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
