Our client is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join a major Commercial Banking transformation programme, providing enterprise architecture leadership across Consumer Servicing & Engagement / Client Services & Engagement. You’ll work across multiple technology domains to shape end-to-end architectures, define target-state solutions and ensure architectural coherence across applications, integration, data, infrastructure and cloud. This is a hands-on architecture role, suited to someone who can combine strategic thinking with practical technical delivery and engage confidently with engineering, delivery and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define high-level, target-state and future-state architectures, roadmaps and emerging technology views.
  • Support the development of Architecture as Code, reusable architecture components and composable architecture patterns.
  • Provide architectural guidance, standards, principles and technology guardrails.
  • Shape transition states, solution designs and architecture delivery roadmaps.
  • Work closely with programme and workstream leads to define scope, requirements and architecture.
  • Design hybrid cloud, API-led and event-driven architectures across complex enterprise environments.
  • Produce and assess architecture artefacts, decision records, designs and data delivery patterns.
  • Identify cross-domain dependencies, risks and technical trade-offs.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align technology strategy with business outcomes.
  • Explore emerging technologies including Generative AI and Agentic AI to support intelligent automation and improved customer servicing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
