Senior Environment Advisor - Thames Water Projects
We're looking for a Senior Environment Advisor to join our Thames Water projects team covering major projects in Bedfordshire.
Location: covering Easy Hyde, Bedfordshire and Harpenden, Hertfordshire
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Environment Advisor, you'll be working within the SHE Team, supporting them in delivering sustainable environmental outcomes across multiple projects. Your day-to-day will include:
- Reviewing pre-construction information to evaluate environmental risks and opportunities, communicating findings to project teams
- Supporting project teams with obtaining permits, licenses, and consents, engaging with regulatory bodies
- Conducting environmental inspections and audits, leading on incident investigations and developing learning outcomes
- Collating sustainability data and reporting progress against objectives, producing case studies and best practice examples
- Leading training initiatives and chairing meetings to drive the sustainability agenda across the business

What We're Looking For:
This role of Senior Environment Advisor is great for you if:
- You have a passion for environmental sustainability and strong demonstrable understanding of environmental legislation, licenses, and consents
- You hold Full ISEP Practitioner membership or Chartered Environmentalist status
- You have proven experience working in an environmental role across pre-construction and live projects
- You possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders
- You hold a Full driving license and can travel between sites
