Senior Environmental & Sustainability Advisor

We're partnered with a leading organisation in the utilities and infrastructure sector to find a Senior Environmental & Sustainability Advisor who wants to make a real impact while building a rewarding career.

This is a varied, hands-on opportunity where no two days are the same. From supporting essential repair and maintenance works, including major burst water mains, to driving environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, you'll play a key role in protecting the environment while keeping vital services running.

With exposure to carbon, waste, biodiversity and environmental management, plus clear career pathways and genuine progression opportunities, this is an exciting move for someone looking to grow their expertise and build a long-term career.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide Expert Guidance: Support planned and reactive works, ensuring environmental risks are managed and best practice is embedded on site.
  • Get Hands-On: Support essential repairs, including major burst water mains, helping minimise environmental impact during critical works.
  • Drive Compliance: Conduct environmental inspections and audits, support sampling, investigate incidents and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Champion Sustainability: Contribute to quarterly client reporting on carbon, waste, biodiversity and plastics, alongside environmental documentation.
  • Inspire Improvement: Deliver EMS audits and training, support operational teams and identify opportunities to improve environmental performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
