Senior Epitaxy Equipment Engineer
Our international client is currently searching for a Senior Epitaxy Equipment Engineer to provide equipment engineering and technical support to the Epitaxy team, ensuring high equipment uptime, supporting production, fault finding, maintenance, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily maintenance with Manufacturing and Process teams.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve MOVPE/MOCVD and associated semiconductor equipment.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning, and new-tool procurement.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to maximize uptime.
- Provide technical guidance to Shift Technicians and supervise contractors/service engineers.
- Support equipment moves, cleanroom projects, and shutdown activities, including occasional weekend overtime.
- Liaise with suppliers and specialist service providers.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ semiconductor/wafer fab or epitaxy engineering experience.
- Strong experience with MOVPE and/or MOCVD.
- Good knowledge of vacuum systems, Hi-Vac, pumps, leak testing, pneumatics, and PLCs.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- HNC/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.

Desirable:
- Aixtron MOVPE reactor or other CVD experience.
- Semiconductor process gas systems and Mass Flow Controllers.
