Senior Employee Relations (ER) Advisor

Full-Time - HR Services

Salary: Competitive

Location: 310 Broadway, Salford M50 2UE

We’re looking for a confident and people-focused Senior ER Advisor to join our ER Services team. If you enjoy helping managers navigate tricky situations, keeping things fair and compliant, and making a real difference to how people experience work, this role is for you.

You’ll be the go-to expert for ER advice across a multi-site operation, supporting managers remotely with clear, practical guidance on everything from investigations and grievances to absence, suspensions and TUPE. You’ll also play a key part in keeping our processes running smoothly and ensuring cases move at pace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Giving managers straightforward, compliant ER guidance on disciplinary, grievance, absence, investigations, and general casework.
  • Handling escalated queries from HR Services and logging everything accurately in the CSM system.
  • Helping managers prepare for meetings, understand their responsibilities, and follow the right process.
  • Producing accurate invite and outcome letters, checking details with ER Specialists when needed.
  • Supporting TUPE processes and working with the wider team to keep transfers on track.
  • Facilitating mediation sessions to help resolve workplace issues.
  • Keeping a close eye on suspension cases to minimize cost and ensure timely progress.
  • Completing redundancy calculations and supporting the admin that goes with them.
  • Staying up to date with employment law, policy changes, and segment-specific requirements.
  • Pitching in with other HR Services teams during busy periods or project work.
  • Maintaining secure, accurate records in line with data protection requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
