Are you an Employee Relations expert who thrives on solving complex people challenges? Can you influence managers at all levels to make confident, commercially focused ER decisions? Ready to make a real impact across a workforce of colleagues within a fast-paced logistics operation?

We are looking for a Senior ER Advisor to join our Currys site in Newark. Working closely with the ER Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor to operational leaders, leading on complex employee relations matters, driving people capability, and helping to create a positive and consistent employee experience. You'll also play a key role in developing ER best practice, supporting change programmes, strengthening manager capability, and building effective relationships with Trade Union representatives.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working predominately Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).   • Act as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations cases, providing expert advice and practical solutions to managers and ER Advisors
  • Support and coach a team of ER Advisors, ensuring consistent and compliant handling of employee relations matters across the contract
  • Lead and support change initiatives, including consultation activity, organisational change programmes and employee engagement projects
  • Design and deliver ER training, workshops and coaching interventions to build manager capability and confidence across all sites
  • Analyse ER trends, identify risks and continuous improvement opportunities, and provide meaningful management information to key stakeholders

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced HR environment with a strong Employee Relations focus and exposure to complex casework
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment law and the ability to provide commercially focused, pragmatic ER advice
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and support managers at all levels
  • Experience coaching and developing people managers to improve ER knowledge, decision-making and policy application
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or willing to study towards) with excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
