Contract Scotland is delighted to be partnering with a respected and expanding fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator for its Glasgow office.
With a strong order book, an excellent reputation, and ambitious growth plans, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where your expertise will directly influence project success and where your career can continue to develop.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in producing accurate, competitive tenders and helping secure a diverse portfolio of exciting projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Obtaining, assessing, and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
- Supporting bid strategy and tender planning with the Estimating Manager
- Working closely with commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process
- Managing multiple tenders while meeting tight deadlines

What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced estimator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, commercially competitive tenders.
You'll Also Have
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or an experienced Estimator ready for the next challenge
- A background in construction, fit-out, civil engineering, or infrastructure
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
