Mellior Construction Ltd is looking for a commercially strong and driven Senior Estimator to join our growing team.
💰 £80,000 salary + £5,000 car allowance
🎯 Discretionary company and individual performance-based bonus

🏗️ THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a key role within our business, working closely with our commercial and operational teams to deliver accurate, competitive and commercially sound tenders across our projects.
Based in Liverpool, the role will involve travel to project sites as required.
We are specifically looking for someone with proven residential construction estimating experience who understands the complexities of residential developments and can confidently take ownership of the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission. You’ll be involved in:

- Preparing detailed estimates and tenders
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identifying commercial opportunities and risks
- Working closely with Commercial and Pre-Construction teams
- Supporting projects from tender stage through to delivery
- Working across a varied portfolio of projects
👷 ABOUT YOU
Residential construction experience is essential for this role.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Estimator with a strong track record within residential construction and excellent knowledge of construction costs, procurement and subcontractor pricing.
You’ll be:
- Experienced in estimating residential construction projects
- Commercially minded with strong cost awareness
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Confident managing multiple tenders and deadlines
- A strong communicator and negotiator
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Comfortable travelling to project sites when required
- Focused on delivering accurate, competitive and commercially sound tenders

🎁 THE PACKAGE
£85,000 total remuneration package, made up of:
- £80,000 basic salary
- £5,000 car allowance
- Discretionary company and individual performance-based bonus
