Senior Estimator – Facilities Management

Location: Head Office (with some travel required)

Salary: Competitive package (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced FM Estimator looking for your next challenge with a growing and ambitious organisation?

FM Talent Partners is supporting a leading facilities management business that is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their commercial team.

This is a key role responsible for leading the preparation of accurate, competitive and commercially focused estimates and proposals for new business opportunities, renewals and major contract tenders.

You will play a critical role in supporting business growth by combining technical FM knowledge, commercial understanding and strong stakeholder management skills.

The Role

As Senior Estimator, you will:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for complex FM contracts and projects
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, risk and profitability
  • Review tender documents, specifications, SLAs and client requirements
  • Support bid/no-bid decisions through commercial and risk analysis
  • Lead pricing reviews and present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Manage the internal approval process for tenders and submissions
  • Work closely with Business Development, Sales and Operations teams
  • Support successful mobilisation and handover of new contracts
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and specialist subcontractors

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • ✅ 5+ years’ experience within FM estimating
  • ✅ Strong experience pricing complex FM contracts
  • ✅ Knowledge of SFG20 schedules, SLAs and contract requirements
  • ✅ Experience managing tender processes from opportunity through to submission
  • ✅ Strong commercial awareness and understanding of margins and risk
  • ✅ Excellent Excel and reporting skills
  • ✅ Ability to communicate confidently with internal stakeholders and clients

Ideally you will have experience within:

  • Hard FM
  • Technical FM services
  • M&E / Engineering environments
  • Large-scale service contracts

A background in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
