Ready to bring your estimating expertise to Legendre UK?
We are seeking for a skilled Senior Estimator to join our London-based team.
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of our projects from the very beginning. Responsible for the full costing of construction works, you will determine the financial requirements to deliver high-quality projects and procure the right materials to bring them to life.
Working closely with our Pre-Construction and Production teams, as well as external stakeholders including clients and supply chain partners, you will ensure every tender is priced accurately, competitively, and strategically. Your expertise will directly support the business in winning new projects and driving sustainable growth — ensuring we operate at maximum efficiency and deliver real value across all projects.
Based in the UK, you will primarily focus on our domestic portfolio but will also have the opportunity to support Channel Islands tenders, with occasional travel to collaborate with our local team on the ground.
Your main tasks:
- Prepare, review and analyse comprehensive cost estimates.
- Liaise with clients and work with design teams during Pre-Construction phase negotiations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, and the supply chain.
- Manage tendering processes, produce clear pricing reports, and present outcomes to leadership.
- Gather feedback from project teams to refine pricing databases and enhance future bids.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
