Building a sustainable tomorrow

The energy sector is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in its history. Across the UK and Ireland, electricity networks are expanding at an unprecedented pace to support decarbonisation, energy security, and economic growth, connecting new offshore wind, interconnectors, storage, and low-carbon technologies to homes, industry, and communities. This transition is driving major investment in grid infrastructure, new delivery models, and digital innovation, while placing people, safety, and collaboration at the heart of delivery. For those looking to work on complex, nationally important projects with long-term purpose and impact, the energy sector offers a unique opportunity to help shape a more resilient, sustainable future while developing skills that will be critical for decades to come.

BAM is currently looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Energy Pre-Construction team

In this role, you'll support bids and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) projects, playing a key part in securing new work and delivering high-quality pre-construction services.

Your team

The role is based in Wellingborough with a hybrid working model offering flexibility between home, office, and site/client visits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
