The Role As a Senior Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the business to secure new work. Main duties will include:
- Preparing detailed, analytical estimates from first principles.
- Reviewing tender documents, assessing scope, and taking off accurate quantities.
- Compiling comprehensive enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensuring bids are submitted professionally and in line with ITT instructions.
- Collaborating with the Estimating team to deliver winning proposals.
What we are looking for Essential:
- Minimum HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating within civil engineering (infrastructure, wastewater, highways, FRC).
- At least 5 years’ on-site experience in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in estimating software (Valesco, Causeway, Conquest, Candy).
- Strong financial and commercial management skills.
- Solid knowledge of CESMM, HWMM, SMM7 and NEC contracts.
