SENIOR ESTIMATOR – INFRASTRUCTURE

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading Employee-Owned Tier 1 Contractor seeking a Senior Estimator – Infrastructure to join their growing Infrastructure division in Mississauga, Ontario.

This is more than pricing work.

You will influence strategy, shape project delivery and play a major role in securing high-profile infrastructure projects.

This role also offers genuine leadership responsibility with the opportunity to mentor and develop estimating teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate estimates across medium to large infrastructure pursuits
  • Drive conceptual estimating, budgeting and bid preparation
  • Analyse tender documents, drawings and technical requirements
  • Develop constructability solutions and competitive bid strategies
  • Identify project risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
  • Prepare schedules, labour, equipment and productivity planning
  • Lead bid close processes and estimating strategy meetings
  • Review subcontractor pricing and negotiate scope clarification
  • Benchmark and cost projects using historical and market data
  • Mentor and develop junior estimators and support teams
  • Drive accountability, collaboration and estimating excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–12 years combined field and estimating experience
  • Heavy Civil, Transit Or Infrastructure Estimating Experience Essential
  • Strong understanding of procurement and tendering processes
  • Ability to lead estimates and coordinate teams effectively
  • Strong commercial and technical capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for winning work and delivering high-quality bids
