Senior Estimator – Façades & Cladding

Kent/South East London

Premises Recruitment is working with an established principle contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator for its growing Façades and Cladding division. The role centres on residential high rise façade and cladding remedial works, with a steady flow of tenders coming through Housing Association frameworks and the private sector. It would suit an experienced estimator who wants to lead tenders in a specialist and in demand part of the market.

They have a solid financial base and are large enough to offer real variety while remaining close knit and collaborative.

The Opportunity

The business is expanding its Façades and Cladding unit and is looking for a Senior Estimator to take the lead on all contracting tenders within it. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, Head of Design and Head of Operations to produce accurate, competitive submissions, and you will see successful bids through to a properly briefed handover to the construction team.

Projects are largely recladding/remediation projects from £5m-£25m.

The Role

  • Reviewing, checking and acknowledging bid documents and amendments
  • Analysing drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other tender documentation
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates from subcontractor tender returns and measured quantities with applied rates
  • Sourcing, negotiating and securing competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Carrying out risk analysis, including on information the client has not provided
  • Assessing logistics, programme durations, preliminaries and site constraints, including site visits
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities
  • Attending mid tender and post tender meetings with clients and subcontractors
  • Completing Forms of Tender, tender letters, qualifications and Contract Sum Analysis or schedules where required
  • Preparing handover documentation and briefing the operational team on awarded tenders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
