Salary: £80,000–£90,000 + Comprehensive Package

Are you an experienced Estimator looking to join a well-established regional main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the Home Counties and London?

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and negotiated work, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join an established pre-construction team based from either Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire.

Working alongside a team of four experienced estimators and reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Director, you'll play a key role in securing a diverse range of projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading and preparing competitive tenders across a variety of sectors, managing the estimating process from first principles through to final submission, while working closely with the wider pre-construction, commercial and operational teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
