Salary: Up to £95,000 DOE + Package
Location: Remote - 1 day per week site/office
Our client, an established earthworks contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity offering predominantly remote working, with typically just one visit per week to site/office.
The Role:
- Preparing competitive tenders for earthworks and civil engineering projects
- Producing first-principles estimates for labour, plant and materials
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identifying risk, opportunities and value engineering solutions
- Supporting tender adjudications and project handovers

About You:
- Civil engineering contracting experience is essential
- Strong estimating / first-principles pricing experience
- Earthworks experience would be highly beneficial
- Experience with Causeway would be advantageous
- Good commercial and technical understanding of civil engineering projects
