Senior Estimator

Manchester / Liverpool - with travel

An opportunity for a Senior Estimator has arisen with a large Tier one main contractor. They have an increase in secured frameworks and would like to increase their Estimating team.

The North west team work on projects across the full North West England area. Reporting to the Area Pre-Construction Director for our North West Region we are looking for a committed Senior Estimator who will bring energy, new ideas and a fresh perspective to a well-established, experienced Estimating Team within an industry leading construction business. The role is a fantastic career opportunity for any individual with a passion for the built environment and capable of bringing fresh thinking to the business to align with our philosophy of delivering Intelligent Solutions.

  • You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
  • You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence to travel across our projects.

Are you an experienced Senior Estimator or Estimator and looking for that step up in your career?

  • You will have a HNC standard qualification as a minimum.
  • Be able to demonstrate ability to take-off quantities and be proficient in using Conquest estimating software, creating Excel reports and have cost planning knowledge and experience.
  • Support the bid team to achieve deadlines and obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and cost plans.
  • Utilise, interpret and represent benchmark data and assess tender documentation, requirements and report findings to team.
  • Effectively communicate bid strategy and solutions to construction team.
  • Have a real passion for the role and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect.
