Primary Purpose Of The Role
This position is part of the Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) Group within T. Rowe Price and reports to the Head of ETF Solutions. As T. Rowe Price expands its ETF platform internationally, Europe represents a key strategic growth region with a focus on building awareness, driving adoption of active ETFs, and integrating ETFs into distribution strategies.
The Senior ETF Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the growth of the European ETF business by partnering with the EMEA distribution teams to deliver ETF education, position T. Rowe Price’s ETF capabilities with investors, and represent the firm across internal and external forums. This individual will help shape and deliver the firm’s ETF narrative in Europe and support the development of client engagement across key markets.
Principal Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior member of the ETF Specialists team, delivering ETF education and client engagement efforts across EMEA.
- Partner with EMEA distribution teams (intermediary and institutional) to act as a subject-matter expert, positioning T. Rowe Price ETFs with investors and integrating ETFs into regional distribution strategies.
- Support the development and execution of the European ETF go-to-market strategy by contributing to client segmentation, engagement priorities, and sales enablement efforts.
- Represent T. Rowe Price at industry events, client meetings, webinars, and conferences to build brand awareness and establish the firm as a trusted provider of active ETFs.
- Collaborate with Investment teams to communicate ETF strategies, portfolio positioning, and investment insights tailored to European investors.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to help develop and enhance a consistent, compelling ETF narrative for the European market, including client-facing materials and thought leadership.
- Provide feedback on investor needs, client behavior, and competitive dynamics within Europe to inform product development, positioning, and strategic priorities.
- Partner with the distribution team to support ETF onboarding and scaling across European platforms, engaging research teams and gatekeepers.
- Develop scalable tools, content, and processes to support systematic engagement with EMEA sales teams and improve the effectiveness of ETF distribution efforts.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of ETF experience; 10+ years preferred - and preferably within a product strategy or product development capacity.
- Strong understanding of the ETF ecosystem, including capital markets, product structure, and distribution.
- Strong understanding of active management principles and terminology with experience of defending, explaining, and positioning active strategies across asset classes.
- Experience within the European asset management distribution landscape (e.g., private banks, wealth managers, platforms, institutional investors).
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment, particularly within developing or scaling businesses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior client audiences.
- Strong relationship management and organizational skills, with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
- In-depth knowledge of ETFs and competing investment vehicles (mutual funds, Seg mandates etc) as well as a solid understanding of active management principles and terminology across asset classes.

Preferred
- Advanced degree or designation (MBA, CFA).
- Experience working across multiple European markets or with cross-border distribution frameworks (e.g., UCITS structures).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Italian) is highly advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel across UK & Europe (up to 50%).
- This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day a week from home.
