Senior EU Project Manager

Salary: from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months

LSE Research and Innovation supports the School's ambitious and growing EU research portfolio. We are seeking a Senior EU Project Manager to lead on LSE-led Horizon Europe consortium development and project delivery, at a pivotal moment in the School's EU funding growth.

  • Lead the design, development and submission of competitive EU consortium applications
  • Act as a strategic partner to Principal Investigators throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of LSE-led EU projects, ensuring compliance with EU requirements and effective performance against milestones and budgets

Candidates Should Have

  • Demonstrable depth of expertise in EU funding, including policy, evaluation processes, and compliance and building successful funding strategies
  • Experience of hands-on support for complex, multi-partner EU consortiums, including direct contribution to the proposal and project
  • Experience of working with research finance to support EU project financial management, including budget structures, eligible cost principles, and reporting requirements
  • Highly developed communication skills (oral and written), with experience of reporting, presenting and grant writing
