Senior European ER and Policy Manager
Perm role
£80K-£110K plus 18% bonus and £6,700 car allowance
Hybrid working
SW London location
Oakleaf is proud to be partnering a globally recognised brand in their search for a regional ER Manager to join their European HR CoE.
The Role
You will be part of a European People team acting as a CoE which supports, guides and collaborates with country or regional People Teams across 35 countries in Europe. You will partner with members of People teams and employee representatives while reporting to the Director of Talent Management for Europe.
You will be responsible for day to day casework across Europe, not only proposing solutions to ER cases but also developing wider HR policies. You will develop new ER processes while ensuring continuous improvement. You will keep the business up to date with changes in Employment Law. There will be an expectation to lead assigned HR projects with an ER focus.

Profile of Candidate
A passion for Employee Relations and for understanding various European HR policies and the differences among diverse countries is essential.
You should have the confidence to liaise with and provide expert advice on ER and regional-level HR policy matters and employment practices to local People Team members throughout Europe.
While you do not need to be a specialist in the labour laws of all target countries, it is crucial to possess expertise in employment law and ER practices of at least one of our target countries in Europe ideally Germany, Netherlands or France.

Experience working with Work Councils at a national and ideally European level.
A solid understanding of the wider HR and COE model, along with the importance of cross-team collaboration, is necessary.
You must work efficiently to ensure a positive impact within the organisation.
You will be confident and proven in having coached and managed complex ER cases on multiple occasions.
