Senior European ER and Policy Manager

Perm role

£80K-£90K plus £6,700K car allowance, 18% bonus and strong benefits

Oakleaf is proud to be partnering a globally recognised brand in their search for a regional ER Manager to join their European HR CoE.

The Role

You will be part of a European People team acting as a CoE which supports, guides and collaborates with country or regional People Teams across 35 countries in Europe. You will partner with members of People teams and employee representatives while reporting to the Director of Talent Management for Europe.

  • Responsible for day to day casework across Europe, not only proposing solutions to ER cases but also developing wider HR policies.
  • Develop new ER processes while ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Keep the business up to date with changes in Employment Law.
  • Lead assigned HR projects with an ER focus.

Profile of Candidate

  • Passion for Employee Relations and understanding various European HR policies and the differences among diverse countries.
  • Confidence to liaise with and provide expert advice on ER and regional-level HR policy matters and employment practices to local People Team members throughout Europe.
  • Expertise in employment law and ER practices of at least one of the target countries in Europe, ideally Germany, Netherlands or France.
  • Experience working with Work Councils at a national and ideally European level.
  • Solid understanding of the wider HR and CoE model, along with the importance of cross-team collaboration.
  • Proven ability to coach and manage complex ER cases on multiple occasions.
