Senior Event Associate - JP Morgan - London - 6 months contract - ONSITE - PAYE

We are seeking a Senior Event Associate to join the J.P. Morgan Private Bank EMEA Events team to deliver high-quality client experiences. This role is dedicated to event planning, supporting logistics, timelines, vendor coordination, and onsite execution with senior team members; rather than marketing, communications, or PR. You will lead defined workstreams and smaller events, and contribute to larger regional and global programs within a collaborative team. Evening and after-hours work, as well as periodic travel across EMEA, is required.

Key responsibilities

  • Support planning and delivery of client events that align with business priorities and brand standards.
  • Contribute research on venues, formats, vendors, and regional trends; maintain venue and supplier lists.
  • Assist with end-to-end logistics: timeline tracking, venue holds, catering, AV, guest travel, and materials.
  • Help manage event calendars, budget tracking, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and vendor onboarding in line with risk and process requirements.
  • Coordinate registration and guest services: invitation lists, RSVP tracking, seating, badge production, and onsite check-in.
  • Build and send event communications in the events platform (invitations, reminders, confirmations, thank-you notes, etc) using approved templates and platforms.
  • Support onsite delivery: room setup, vendor coordination, speaker support, presentation and AV checks.
  • Prepare concise status updates, briefing notes, and post-event reports (attendance, feedback, costs, and lessons learned).
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
