💥 Senior Event Manager

💥 £35,000–£40,000 💥 Leeds – Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days WFH

ThePlaceToBe are partnering with a leading events agency looking to recruit a Senior Event Manager to work closely with one of their key global clients. You'll take ownership of a varied programme of internal events, working closely with the client to deliver memorable experiences while building strong, long-term relationships.

About the role...

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Event Manager. You'll work closely with a global client, becoming a trusted partner and taking ownership of their event programme from initial brief through to on-site delivery. You'll collaborate with client stakeholders, creative teams, suppliers and production partners to deliver engaging events that meet both the client's objectives and the highest standards of execution.

What you'll be doing...

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of internal events for a global client.
  • Acting as a senior day-to-day contact, building strong client relationships.
  • Working with stakeholders to understand objectives and event requirements.
  • Collaborating with creative and production teams to develop engaging experiences.
  • Sourcing and managing venues, suppliers, production partners and accommodation.
  • Managing budgets, timelines, logistics and production schedules.
  • Coordinating multiple stakeholders and event elements from pre-production through to live delivery.
  • Leading on-site delivery and ensuring every event runs seamlessly.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the client experience and event programme.

About you...

You'll have strong agency-side event experience and be confident taking ownership of projects from brief through to completion. You're highly organised, calm under pressure and comfortable working with senior stakeholders and global clients.

What we're looking for...

  • Previous experience as an Event Manager or similar within an agency.
  • Strong end-to-end event production and delivery experience.
  • Experience working with global clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, suppliers, venues, logistics and timelines.
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
  • Confident leading on-site event delivery and managing multiple projects.
  • Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding events and experiences.
