Events Manager

A B2B financial services provider is seeking an Events Manager to lead and execute the events strategy across the UK and a number of key regions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for in-person and digital events.

This role is a 12-month FTC with an ASAP start.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement company-wide events across the UK and US.
  • Plan and implement a range of high-quality events — including seminars, conferences, exhibitions, third-party events and webinars — from briefing through to completion.
  • Oversee the strategic planning and delivery of major events including product launches, conferences, executive forums, board and partner visits, reward and recognition programmes, overseas incentive trips, and digital events.
  • Ensure events are well organised, accurately documented and delivered in line with corporate guidelines, compliance requirements and agreed timelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and deliver the full calendar.
  • Support post-event evaluation by reviewing event performance against agreed measures.
  • Manage inhouse events where required.
  • Work with marketing and ensure event marketing materials are developed in the correct time-scales.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, coordinating event logistics, and managing budgets.
  • Translate senior stakeholder briefs into creative, audience-led event solutions with clear objectives, measurable outcomes and a premium delegate experience.
  • Own the commercial oversight of event budgets, ensuring investment is prioritised, controlled and aligned to business value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
