THE POSITION

We are currently looking for a Senior Events Manager to join our Corporate Affairs team on a contract basis for 3 months.

This role requires 2 days per week in Head Office (Bracknell).

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and external customers as relevant, to understand the strategic objectives and define the event scope, format and key milestones in line with the business needs, customer preferences and available budget
  • Elaborate and document the end-to-end plan, to ensure timely delivery
  • Identify and contract external partners support when needed
  • Communicate frequently and appropriately with key stakeholders along the process of the event planning and delivery, to ensure appropriate engagement and prioritisation of time of key contributors
  • Own the key events calendar to avoid critical overlaps and ensure internal attendance and resource allocation are optimal
  • Capture and document key events data and customer feedback and report them to the business
  • Ensure learning and best practice are also discussed, captured and shared as appropriate to lead to a constant improvement of key events delivery

  • A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
  • Large events design, planning and delivery experience
  • Proficiency in event management technology and digital marketing platforms
  • Strong organisational, and workload prioritisation skills, and agility to utilise available technology to support effective project management
  • Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders, and priorities effectively
  • Ability to negotiate and manage external vendors
