Fully Remote | International B2B Events
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Event Marketing Manager to plan, deliver and optimise integrated marketing campaigns for a growing portfolio of international B2B events.
This is a role for someone who knows how to market events and get results. You’ll work directly with the Managing Director to develop campaign strategy, then take ownership of turning those plans into action across email, social, paid media, partnerships, digital and other channels.
You’ll work closely with an in-house content resource and specialist marketing freelancers, while remaining hands-on with campaigns yourself.
The business currently runs established events in the UK and US, with plans to expand its international portfolio, including Asia in 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid media, website, media partnerships, content promotion and other acquisition channels
- Own the campaign calendar across multiple international events, ensuring activity is coordinated, timely and focused on clear outcomes
- Drive delegate acquisition and registration growth, using audience segmentation, data and campaign performance to determine where to focus
- Own and coordinate organic social media, ensuring speakers, content, programme themes and the wider event experience are promoted effectively
- Work closely with the content team to turn articles, interviews, speaker content and other assets into effective multi-channel campaigns
- Own and manage the marketing budget across the event portfolio, allocating spend across channels, monitoring performance and ROI, and making recommendations on where investment should be increased, reduced or reallocated.
- Coordinate Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads with specialist PPC support, helping determine audiences, messaging, creative and budget allocation, and using performance data to optimise campaigns
- Develop and manage email campaigns, including audience segmentation, messaging, testing and performance analysis
- Manage and develop media partnerships and identify other channels that can extend reach and grow the audience
- Brief and coordinate designers, paid media specialists and other freelance marketing support where required
- Monitor campaign performance against clear KPIs, identify what is and isn’t working, and continually optimise activity
- Test new approaches and channels including direct mail, retargeting, SMS, partnerships and account-based campaigns where appropriate

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- A strong track record of planning and delivering end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Hands-on experience with email marketing, organic social media and digital campaigns
- Good working knowledge of Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads — you don’t need to be a PPC specialist, but you should understand how paid campaigns work, how to brief specialists and how to assess performance
- Comfortable working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
- Confident using data and analytics to evaluate campaigns, identify opportunities and make decisions
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and delegate acquisition
- Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a small, fully remote team where everyone is expected to be hands-on

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership.
You’ll work directly with the Managing Director to discuss objectives, develop ideas and agree campaign strategy. From there, you’ll be trusted to take those plans forward, coordinate the resources needed to deliver them and be accountable for the results.
We’re looking for someone who brings their own marketing knowledge and ideas to the table - someone who can look at performance, recommend what should happen next and then make it happen.
