Your role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Event Sales & Client Manager to partner with us as an Independent Contractor (Freelancer).
In this role, you will take ownership of senior client relationships, drive commercial event proposals, and oversee high-impact event execution. We are looking for a commercially minded event professional who thrives on building client trust, refining operational processes, and leveraging technology/AI to deliver outstanding event experiences across the UK and DACH regions.
Your mission
- Client & Account Management: Serve as the main senior contact for key clients, building long-term relationships, understanding project objectives, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Event Sales & Pitching: Lead the development of event proposals, pitches, and costings; negotiate contracts; and drive commercial growth across new and existing accounts.
- End-to-End Event Delivery: Oversee operational execution, logistics, vendor management, and run-of-show for high-profile virtual, hybrid, or on-site events.
- Bilingual Execution: Manage high-level communications, client presentations, and negotiations.
- Process & AI Optimization: Continuously improve operational workflows by introducing modern event technologies and AI-based tools to increase efficiency.
- Budgeting: Manage event project budgets, monitor profitability, and ensure all contract deliverables are met within agreed timelines.

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in event sales, client account management, and end-to-end event execution (agency or corporate context preferred).
- Languages: Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Education: Completed degree or formal training in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical senior experience).
- Skills:
- Proven track record in pitching, negotiating, and managing high-value client accounts and complex event projects.
- High affinity for event technology combined with strong curiosity and practical interest in AI-based tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for shaping and optimizing processes.
- Location: Based in the UK and set up to work as an Independent Contractor / Freelancer (B2B basis).
