About The Role
You'll be joining the Events and Engagement team within the Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience division. We're a small, experienced team based across Edinburgh, Bristol and London, working collaboratively to bring the Motability Scheme to life through meaningful events and engagement.
Each year, we design and deliver a wide range of experiences that connect customers, healthcare professionals, partners, colleagues and industry stakeholders with the Motability Scheme. From large-scale customer events and corporate conferences to healthcare engagement and strategic partnerships, we create inclusive experiences that build understanding, trust and long-term advocacy for the Scheme.
This 13-month fixed-term opportunity sits within the Customer Events team who deliver Motability Scheme Live (MSL). These are the Scheme’s national programme of large-scale customer events alongside a wider programme of physical, digital and hybrid customer events and experiences.
You'll support the delivery of these events which connect with thousands of customers and stakeholders each year. Reporting to the Senior Events and Marketing Manager, you'll help maintain the high standards of our events programme, managing multiple projects, building strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers, and ensuring events are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
The role offers the chance to support an established and successful events programme, build strong relationships across the business and with external partners, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
About You
You're highly organised, proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work. A strong communicator and natural problem solver, you build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and enjoy finding practical, creative solutions. Whether coordinating event logistics, supporting marketing activity or ensuring seamless on-site delivery, you take pride in delivering well-executed events that make a lasting impact.
Minimum Criteria
- Proven experience coordinating and delivering in-person and/or virtual events.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage event logistics, budgets and operational delivery.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams while taking ownership of individual workstreams.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK, including to our offices in Edinburgh, Bristol and London, with occasional overnight stays.
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support event delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
