We are recruiting a Senior Events Executive to join our Business Development & Marketing team in London. This role will be responsible for planning and managing a wide range of events, including seminars, conferences and corporate hospitality, delivered both in person and online. Reporting to the Head of Business Development - Events, you will work with colleagues across the firm including Business Development Managers, Partners, fee-earners, Group Heads, Sector Heads, internal teams and external suppliers.

The role will help shape and deliver events that meet the objectives of each engagement while ensuring events are delivered professionally, efficiently and with the attendee experience at the forefront.

Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to work across a varied events programme, supporting client-facing events while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external vendors including venues, AV providers, event technology providers and experience partners.

Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, and this role will require a minimum of 3 days a week in the office, but flexibility to increase days in the office and vary working hours as needed by the events schedule is a must for this role.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience delivering events within a professional services environment.
  • Experience planning and delivering both online and in-person events, including large-scale client events.
  • Evidence of focusing on attendee experience – focusing on our events through the eyes of our attendees to make our events as successful as possible.
  • Experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including partners, business leaders, Group Heads, Sector Heads and team leads.
  • Experience managing event communications, mailing lists and responses through CRM and email marketing systems such as InterAction, Vuture or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of online event technology and delivery platforms, preferably with expert skills in Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
